Position Available: Outreach Assistant
We are seeking a full-time Outreach Assistant who is reliable, compassionate, has a great work ethic, and also loves to work with youth! Supports activities to the Outreach and Admissions Department.
Duties: Conducts initial and follow up prospect contact documenting all efforts, Schedules and assists with applicant orientations, Assists with center tours. Assist with outreach activities such as presentations to local high schools, agencies and One stops. Assists with retention activities such as welcoming new arrivals and focus groups.
Qualifications: High School diploma or Equivalent , six months’ work related experience preferred. Must possess a New York State Valid Driving License with an acceptable driving record. Compensation is based on experience.

What is Job Corps? It is the country's most extensive nationwide residential career training program and has been operating for over 50 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.
Iroquois Job Corps offers training in the medical trades (Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medical Assistant), Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrical and Paint.
