We are currently looking to add an Underwriter Assistant to our team. An Underwriter Assistant provides support to an Underwriter by reviewing applications, evaluating risk, creating quotes, and processing new and renewal business.

Responsibilities:
- Review applications.
- Evaluate risks.
- Research carrier guidelines.
- Work with agents and insurance carriers.
- Service new and renewal business.
- Additional duties as assigned. Opportunity for growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience with General Liability, Property, Package, Garage or retail insurance agency experience is required.
- Strong customer service, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and be responsive.
- Ability to solve complex issues.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate various websites and databases.
