QUALIFICATIONS

» Five years Kids ministry experience

» Experience working with children

» Project planning and coordination

» Ability to recruit and lead teams of people

» A deep and growing faith and personal relationship with Christ

» A heart to see others come to faith

» A love for kids and the patience and wisdom to minister to kids at all levels

» A heart to disciple and equip parents or primary care givers

» Strives for excellence and professionalism

» Ability to evaluate current operations and implement creative improvements

» Ability to adapt quickly and problem solve

» Good communication and organization skills

» Understands the needs of parents and kids and responds accordingly

CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES

Set direction and provide leadership for the children’s ministry staff team.

Model godly, servant-leadership with staff and volunteers serving in Kids ministry

Communicate vision to Kids ministry team

Help directors establish, prioritize and work toward goals through regular meetings that encourage accountability and progress

Uphold a high standard of excellence

Provide pastoral care and shepherding for Kids ministry team, volunteers and families

Encourage and build community among the Kids ministry team, volunteers and families.

Recruit and train volunteers to serve in Kids ministry

Top Priorities for Next 6 Months

1. Evaluate current ministry and implement plans for improvement.

2. Communicate with parents and invite them to partner with the Kids ministry team to spiritually care for their children.

3. Facilitate relationship building between staff and volunteer leaders and kids so that the potential of that relationship is maximized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
