Job Description What you can expect in a typical day: The Financial Applications Lead is responsible for a team professional to support the day to day use financial applications. The lead will is required to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure the effective operations and utilization of financial applications. Work can be high speed and ability to prioritize operationally impactful processes which required high reliability, self-motivated, organized and professional. Identify continues improvement opportunities to present within the current financial applications and/or related processes. Lead approved initiatives around implementing improvements including the design of new processes, as well as seeking appropriate support from senior management and resources as necessary Lead streams of work coordinating and managing various financial system testing. Identify areas of risk impacting financial applications and lead initiatives to remove or mitigate those risks. Ensure all internal controls related to area of responsibility are operating effectively. Support the greater organizational goals by leading system changes or new system implementations as appropriate Manage the human capital in the applicable team including performance appraisals, people management, personal development, career and succession planning. Support Corporate wide initiatives and projects impacting financial applications. Support the team manage on active issues and multiple competing priorities. Consider bigger picture and ensure collaboration with others as required (tax, pricing, sales, etc) 16.
