Accountant

Job Overview:

IS Restaurant Design Equipment & Supply is a well- established, rapidly growing company, that designs restaurants and supplies equipment. We are adding to our accounting department and looking to hire a full-time accountant. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a good understanding of accounting functions, a high degree of accuracy, as well as excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Duties:

· Match invoices to purchase orders.

· Post A/P invoices and processes weekly A/P check runs.

· Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax.

· Opens mail and prepares and logs daily deposits.

· Maintain A/P Vendor List.

· Maintain A/R Customer List.

· Invoice customers on a daily basis.

· Maintain A/R and A/P aging reports.

· Maintain Sales Order Backlog Reports.

· Contact delinquent accounts for payment status.

· Prepares weekly and monthly reports for Management.

· Work cross functionally with several departments.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education,

training, and experience.

· Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently.

· Knowledge of accounting software systems.

· Proficient in Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
