What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product & Lifestyle Photographer position at Isagenix?
Position Summary
The in-house photographer will execute high-quality product and lifestyle digital photography that meets the needs of the marketing team and company overall. Types of photography will include product photography for print and digital platforms, headshots, in-studio and on-location lifestyle photography, as well as event photography. This person will collaborate with the in-house creative and social media teams to set and evolve photographic direction that maintains brand continuity in product imagery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Takes high-quality photographic images that meet the needs of Marketing, Sales, and Isagenix as a whole.
- Utilizes professional camera and lighting equipment in a well-equipped studio.
- Utilizes computer imaging software to process photographs.
- Imports, organizes, catalogs, and exports final images into a shared environment.
- Works with creative teams worldwide to locate images from the marketing archives for use in specific marketing pieces and across global offices.
- Contacts and communicates with product managers and outside vendors to identify viable locations for photography.
- Accurately performance color correction on images under defined and standardized conditions. Ability to perform all post-production editing on photos.
- Ensures strict brand consistency by applying the highest standards in setting up lighting, composition, color accuracy, exposure for each shot while managing a high volume of images.
- Determines lighting requirements, composition, background, props and product set up as well as any additional specifications to ensure quality shooting.
- Show leadership and initiative in managing projects, schedules, and project timelines. Be proactive about managing deadlines and client expectations.
- Stay abreast with current photography trends and software and identify opportunities to share knowledge with design staff.
- Manage and work with team and internal partners to keep files and image libraries organized and properly tagged.
Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and photo editing software, most importantly Photoshop.
- Highly skilled at editing in camera RAW
- Must be willing to travel.
- Portfolio must be included to be considered for this position.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Fine Arts.
- Expert skills in Adobe CC Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Familiar with print processes and prepress workflows.
- Experience with Social Media Design.
