ABOUT US:
ISAT Total Support /Tomarco is a leading provider of engineering & consulting services and the related products and hardware used for nonstructural seismic bracing and the support of Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping systems. Our focus is geared toward utility systems within the commercial and industrial construction markets. Our primary focus includes but is not limited to designing and fabricating supports for the HVAC, mechanical piping, distributed electrical systems, plumbing, process piping & fire protection contractors.
Headquartered in Southern California, ISAT also has offices in Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, North Carolina, New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Additional expansion is expected.
PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
This scope makes the most use of your experience and talent while allowing you the opportunity to grow your career as the organization grows.
The following is a general list of your responsibilities (not in order of importance):
- Assist with the day-to-day interaction with Customers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Sales on all operational aspects of Engineering on projects where ISAT has contracted scopes of work. You shall minimize ISAT's exposure and financial risk on all project work.
- Have a clear understanding of the terms of all project contracts and scope. You will keep abreast of where the project stands in relation to billable hours to hours billed. You will also confirm the billing process takes place once contracted work has progressed or completed billing.
- Create and execute Purchasing Worksheets, Purchasing Products, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the customer.
- Participate in the Project Kick-Off meeting and understand the Schedule of Values, Contract Documents, project scope of work, project Schedule, and design criteria prior to moving forward with the project.
- Manage the overall Contracted baseline schedule and compare it to the General Contractors progress schedule as updates come in so changes in our workload demand can be identified. Facilitate any cost or no-cost schedule change orders should the need arise.
- Manage appropriate, professional documents/correspondence in response to the Customer to include revisions of Purchases to meet the demands of the project design team.
- Monitor project purchases, deliveries, and expenditures to ensure that the approved purchases fall within budget guidelines, are cost-efficient and of high quality.
- Communicate fluidly with all engineering teams to determine all their product and service needs are satisfied to the proper project orders assigned and report any back-ordered, changed, or missing products.
- Develop relationships with management and supply partners to improve business.
- Assist and develop an effective and accurate structure for monitoring purchase orders.
- Organization – must be able to keep a clean and organized work environment.
- Performs Other Duties as Assigned – The employee may be asked to perform duties not listed in this job description, but which are also considered to be essential to the employment position.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of work experience, preferably in a related industry.
ABILITIES:

- Microsoft Suite proficiency.
COMMUNICATION: Able to communicate in all forms of correspondence for tasks related to projects with which you are associated. Communicate effectively; improve the company’s ability and knowledge by sharing creative solutions and ideas. Creating Transmittals, sending follow-up emails after Coordination meetings, etc. Additionally, all such communication must be electronically documented in project folders.
