Developer eCommerce

The position will be responsible for providing software development activities and daily support of the Oracle eCommerce cloud.

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Oracle eCommerce Cloud Developer/Analyst to join our ISD team in Cypress, CA or Kennesaw, GA. The Senior Oracle eCommerce Cloud Developer/Analyst will be responsible for providing software development activities and daily support of the Oracle eCommerce cloud. They will also be responsible for the technical design, development, testing and implementation of the Yamaha Motors ecommerce platform. This position allows for flexbile work arrangment for remote working, up to 3 days a week.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Leadership support for new enhancement projects, conducting discovery & design workshops and composing relevant documentation.

Ability to troubleshoot defects and resolve issues raised by the business.

Ability to lead new project workshops for discovery and design with both business and technical teams to formulate scope of requirements and solution design.

Research, design, configure, and implement new Oracle eCommerce application enhancements as part of a development team to meet the business requirements and simplified Oracle Commerce Cloud site designed.

Provide operational support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues working with business daily.

Communicating project/task design, schedules, and status to ISD Management, YMUS Business Partners, or other ISD teams and project members.

Ability to support full project delivery, including discovery, design, testing, and post go live support as well as facilitating client involvement in User Acceptance Testing.

Serves as an advisor and expert to business stakeholders, and other Yamaha IT teams, with regards to functional knowledge of Oracle eCommerce cloud application.

Proactively identify and prioritize high impact improvements through the analysis of current and future state processes.

Keep apprised of new and emerging Oracle eCommerce functions/features to improve application.

Other Duties as assigned.

This position allows for flexbile work arrangment for remote working, up to 3 days a week.

Qualifications:
Development experience with e-commerce concepts such as personalization, shopping carts, customer service, order management, subscription management, payment gateways, content creation and management; and general search concepts such as guided search, search interfaces, and relevancy ranking is desirable

Experience with API integrations to external systems with technologies such as REST/SOAP. Specific experience integrating with Marketing systems (Marketo), CDP's, Oracle Siebel, and SAP systems for inventory and order management would be nice to have.

Exposure and practical experience working with front-end technologies such as Node.js, jQuery, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Ajax

Provide operational support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues working with business daily. Knowledge of emerging eCommerce architecture and technologies (e.g., headless architecture, microservices, etc.). Familiar with both traditional waterfall and agile development methodologies as well as familiarity with change management tools (preferably Jira) or Service Now

Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to promote change in an environment of rapidly changing technologies and business processes.

Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve results.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with users at all levels throughout the organization.
