GIS Intern

Description

 ISG is seeking a GIS Intern to work with a dynamic team of individuals with the collective purpose of finding creative and unique ways to utilize geospatial data to help solve real-world issues. The successful candidate will use various criteria to assemble, integrate, analyze, and display spatial information in a digital format. As an intern, you have the opportunity to work with 500 employee owners, across multiple disciplines, who have a passion for mentorship and ensuring you have the tools and resources needed to succeed. This position is fast-paced and offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for professional growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS PRO, extensions, and geoprocessing tools.
• Understanding of cartographic principles and the ability to develop production quality maps.
• Experience with Python is strongly desired.
• Become familiar with and produce work using computer aided software programs.
• Be accountable to other members of the team to complete assigned tasks and recognize performance of other team members. 
• Work on several projects at one time.
• Must have strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
