Description
ISG is excited to bolster our team with a Project Architect, passionate about our K12 Business Unit. Applicants should have an enthusiasm for positively influencing the learning environments of the next generation, high design, developing relationships, and leading projects. As an Architect and key contributor of the business unit, you will be an ISG Employee Owner, working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. Noted as an Emerging Professional Friendly Firm by the AIA, this role provides immense opportunities to learn and strengthen skills, lead, and mentor team members with the development and design of projects.
Your home office will be based in one of our Minnesota office locations – Mankato, Rochester, St. Louis Park, or Bloomington. Regardless of your office, you will assist with K12 Business Unit activity throughout the entire ISG footprint. Because of this, travel may be necessary at times. These events are typically day trips and occur 1-2 times a month.
Team members who thrive at ISG lead with empathy and embody grit, hustle, and our underdog mentality. As a K12 Architect, you have the opportunity to participate in pre-referendum, master planning, funding development, programming, and design phases. In addition to architects, you will work with people like Sue Peterson. Sue ensures educational adequacy and serves as a collaborator in pre-referendum services. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for code review and evaluations, specification writers, visualization specialists, and construction administrators. We even have a team to help you manage your professional licenses!
