As a Planner at ISG, you will have the opportunity to involve yourself in work ranging from urban redevelopment to waterfronts and housing to industrial planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Plan efforts with focus on five general areas; data collection, evaluation and analysis and due diligence, stakeholder engagement, scenario planning through final plan creation, implementation strategies and the establishment and tracking of metrics across social, economic, environmental, and cultural factors.
- Implement planning principals emphasizing sustainability, resiliency, and equity
- Lead and contribute to public participation and stakeholder events and client meetings including presenting/communicating creative and relevant concepts.
- Coordinate information and work on a multi-disciplined team.
- Participate in the development of written/graphic planning documents.
- Be an accountable, eager, and creative employee owner!
- Other duties as assigned or instructed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required professional expertise demonstrated through 0-5 years of planning experience.
- Bachelors or master’s degree from accredited college or university in Planning or a related field.
- AICP preferred or the ability to achieve certification.
- Ability to communicate ideas persuasively and visually through written, verbal, and graphic communications.
- Ability to publicly represent ISG and clients in public forums.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.
