We are seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team. Island Doctors is committed to providing excellence in service. Our mission is to help patients achieve their optimal health status. The top candidate will be dependable, outgoing and enjoy helping people. Interested parties must be motivated, a self-starter and able to work independently. Our staff are the face of the company and play an important role in the quality of service provided to our patients.

You will perform routine medical administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

· Handle all medical administrative duties in a timely, accurate and professional manner

· Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff

· Manage incoming calls effectively and provide outstanding service

· Maintain quality communication with patients and outside vendors to build rapport

· Other duties assigned /required by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
