JOB TITLE: Park Services Host (Custodial)

REPORTS TO: Park Services Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Park Services

FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt

POSITION SUPERVISED: None

JOB SUMMARY: The Park Services Host (Custodial) will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the entire park.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sweep and pick up trash and debris from park areas and parking lots.
  • Empty and clean trash cans; replace trash liners.
  • Clear and clean tables for Food & Beverage.
  • Clean restrooms, guest areas, and backstage.
  • Wash windows and clean windows daily.
  • Follow restroom schedules to ensure cleanliness of facilities.
  • Greet guests, visitors, and team members in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Keep a clean orderly work area.
  • Work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations, and requirements.
  • Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated time frame, as determined by the reporting leader.
  • Provide a reporting leader with feedback, ideas, and suggestions on a timely consistent basis.
  • Clean using powered equipment such as pressure-washers and leaf blowers
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High School Degree or Equivalent preferred

Experience: 1 years’ in Water Parks Operations or work-related field preferred.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays overnight events and weekends
  • Must be able to maintain positive, respectful relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies, including employees, community leaders and senior management.
  • Must have highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Must have a proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude. Positive and effective customer service skills.
  • Must have good teamwork orientation.
  • Must be able to operate powered equipment such as pressure-washers and leaf blowers.

  • The team member may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • The noise level is generally moderate to high.
