Job Description:
As a Controller & Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial executive role in managing financial operations and overseeing the financial health of the organization. In this multifaceted role, you will collaborate with our various departments to report on efficient and effective operations, help implement financial strategies, and provide key insights to our President to help drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to support operational needs.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Operations Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze operational performance metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and profitability, to identify trends, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate operational and financial performance to senior management.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in operational processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement best practices, streamline procedures, and drive process optimization initiatives across departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational bottlenecks and improve overall productivity.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Manage internal controls and safeguards to protect the assets of the organization.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial management and operations analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
