The Island Pickleball Company is the premier provider of Tennis and Pickleball on the Texas Gulf Coast
and is in search for a Head Pro & Strategic Partner
Objectives of the Role
The primary objective of this role is to assist the current owner and operator with all aspects of the
business. Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with new facilities that contribute to the
organization's growth and mission. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development,
management, marketing and the actual leading of on court programs.
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential partnership opportunities and fostering relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborating with owner/operator to develop partnership strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Daily operations including teaching and running a wide range of tennis and pickleball activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing strategic partnerships within the tennis/pickleball industry
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- On court teaching and operation of instructional, competitive, and recreational programs.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry-specific trends and market dynamics
- Social Media marketing
- Design and implementation of a full range of tennis and pickleball programs
- Technology driven marketing and operations
Compensation
- Percentage of ownership to be negotiated with terms renegotiated annually
- First 6 months housing if needed to relocate
- 80/20 split on teaching and running events
- Profit Share of overall business
- $500 monthly for first 6 months
