What You Will Do:
(Key Responsibilities)
- Record journal entries, prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist in monthly close procedures
- Assist with audits as needed
- Process accounts payable invoices and process vendor payments
- Assist in banking and cash management
- Ad hoc requests and special projects
What You Will Bring to the Role:
(Key Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2-5 years of account experience
- Strong organizational abilities
- Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills
- Ability to effectively utilize systems and find efficiency improvements
- Team player that understands the balance between individual contribution and team performance.
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
- Advanced MS excel skills including vlookup and pivot tables
- Understanding and knowledge of Walmart/Sam’s Club operations preferred
- Experience with Sage100 preferred
- Experience with SQL tables is preferred
