Position Summary:
The Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within our facilities. This position requires precision and a keen eye for detail to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our inventory system.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods against invoices or orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage storage of products and supplies to optimize space and preserve accessibility.
  • Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they meet shipping standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and receipts to ensure accuracy in stock levels and order fulfillment.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
  • Comply with all safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits to manage and reconcile physical inventories with system records.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, adhering to organizational standards and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and support operational requirements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clearance: Must have or be able to get and maintain a Secret security clearance
Physical and Environmental Demands:
  • Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and reaching during the majority of the shift.
  • Working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and possible exposure to dust and noise.
