Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lead Furniture/Architectural Walls Installer to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for the installation and service of workspace furniture, demountable walls, and related products. As a key member of our team, you will lead installation projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and providing excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Attend pre-installation meetings, define the scope of work, and lead the installation team. Provide direction, support, and training to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, build trust, and ensure a positive experience. Conduct walk-throughs upon project completion and address any concerns.
- Installation Excellence: Safely assemble furniture and walls according to plan, maintaining an organized and professional approach. Monitor job progress, report to the installation manager, and complete post-installation checklists.
- Safety & Compliance: Operate tools and equipment safely, adhere to company safety protocols, and report any hazardous conditions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in carpentry or architectural wall installations, preferably in the commercial furniture industry.
- Strong mechanical abilities with proficiency in using power tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and stooping.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
