EDI/Excel Specialist - Remote Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
iSphere is seeking an EDI Specialist (remote contract-to-hire position) for a remote, 6 month opportunity to oversee all aspects of the vendor onboarding process, including electronic data interchange (EDI) onboarding, daily monitoring, problem-solving, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the fulfillment of all necessary requirements for the efficient functioning of electronic data interchange systems. - Propose enhancements to existing EDI systems and procedures to boost overall productivity and service maintenance, and explore opportunities to expand EDI usage across the organization. - Collaborate with management to gather requirements and specifications while developing advanced data and reporting tools. - Oversee EDI projects from initial design through testing, validation, and implementation stages. - Monitor the daily performance of EDI, investigate and resolve EDI communication issues, and provide technical expertise to vendors to aid in troubleshooting their solutions. - Educate internal end-users on the proper utilization of EDI systems and reporting mechanisms.
Required Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Familiarity with SPS Commerce and/or Data Masons is a plus - Experience with ERP software and end-user training
Experience: - Minimum of 5 years in an EDI Analyst or similar role - Background in retail and/or technology industries - Comprehensive understanding of business, logistics, and financial concepts
