Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Project Manager. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of construction projects. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. The Construction Project Manager will be based in Greater Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Project complete oversight: Lead the design, purchasing, field and customer management through project closeout.
- Specialization in Fire Protection: Utilize your specialized knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and best practices to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, suppression systems, and more.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth progress.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, and local jurisdiction in order to build strong working relationships.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required quality and safety standards and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Coordination and Construction Project Management skills
- Experience with Budgeting and Construction Management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in fire protection, with a deep understanding of fire protection system designs, installation and materials.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project management
- Expert of NFPA 13 preferred but not required
- NICET certification preferred but not required
