Field Service Technician

Are you looking for a unique opportunity? Istobal USA, a growing international vehicle wash equipment manufacturer, has an opening for a Field Service Technician. Our Field Service Technicians (FST's) travel throughout specific territories to install, maintain and repair car wash equipment from a factory support role. We are searching for a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician that has experience for our fast-growing company.

We are looking for a long-term, full-time employee. Our ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with car wash equipment (additional training provided)
• Clean DMV record
• Familiarity with North California freeways
• Diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tool experience
• Basic knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or construction trades
• Basic computer and data entry skills for windows-based software programs
• Critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate problems with manufacturer reps, owners, and supervisor
• Position requires a fast learner at a quick pace
• Dedication to customer service
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
• Heavy lifting of large equipment and knowledge of approved lifting devices such as forklifts
• Requires walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and twisting/turning
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry heavy items

Responsibilities & Duties

Daily clear communication with customers, dispatch, and supervisors. You will travel to local car wash sites daily to perform any of the following:

• 60% = Diagnose and resolve issues that arise on car wash equipment
• 20% = Installation of car wash equipment
• 20% = Perform scheduled maintenance on car wash equipment

Pay & Benefits: $25 - $26 per hour depending on experience with a 90-day review. Benefits include company-paid medical & vision insurance, vacation, sick time, and a company vehicle.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
