IT Support Technician - Tier 1 Support (Junior Technician)

Compensation and Hours:
- Base wage starts at $35,000 to $45,000
- Shifts are between 8am and 5:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Role Description / Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the office for your shifts and to plan your day
- Remotely support clients to resolve/troubleshoot issues
- Onsite support for clients and internal IT support (hands-on)
- Address issues for servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and routers
- Initially training will consist of learning about our remote assistance tools. More hands-on training will be performed onsite/on-location.
- Track and follow up with all issues within given time-frames
- Document any new fixes/guides not already in our knowledge-base
- Excellent in-person, phone and customer service skills are necessary
- Thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware, networking and applications
- General knowledge of networking and operating systems
- Able to work after-hours or weekends with advance notice.

- Certifications and related degrees are a plus

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, feeling with hands, reaching with arms
- Common communication skills (hearing/speaking)
- Able to drive an automatic vehicle on highways/freeways
- Vision requirements include: close vision and ability to focus
- Perform office duties including computer keyboard use
- Ability to use common tools such as screwdriver, pliers, and hammer
- Noise conditions range from quiet to moderate
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
