What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investor position at Itau US?
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct monthly portfolio reviews and presentations with clients, recommending strategic and tactical opportunities across asset classes, including Listed Equities, OTC Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Vehicles, Derivatives, NDFs, Structure Notes, Co-Investment Structures etc…
• Identify timely/time sensitive investment opportunities to share with clients between monthly reviews
• Proactively participate in the investment idea generation process while interacting with other members of the investment team
• Liaise with products, portfolio solutions and/or structuring teams to find adequate investment vehicles
• Work closely with Bankers and Domestic Investors to develop a seamless, global relationship with clients encompassing both on and offshore investment accounts
• Participate in Client Prospecting Meetings in order to either bring net new assets from other institutions or target suitable client allocation between onshore and offshore assets
• Assess client suitability at both product and portfolio level
• Register client orders and execute with counterparties on trading desk
• Travel to Latin America for in person portfolio reviews with clients 2-3 times per year
• Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules and regulations, as well as Itau’s related policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field
• MBA or CFA is preferable
• Series 7 and 66 required
• 7 - 10 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Service Industry
• Be a team player
• Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish
