ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Summarize filings made in regulatory proceedings and orders issued by regulatory authorities, with a focus on impact to the Company
- Research state and regional policies related to the electric transmission industry.
- Provide support to the regulatory team’s advocacy efforts on transmission policy initiatives.
- Develop an understanding of the Company’s key initiatives and identify regulatory issues of interest to the Company
REQUIREMENTS
- Entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year at a 4 year college or university.
- Substantial coursework in one or more of the following: accounting, finance, economics, business, political science, engineering
- Interest in public policy and regulation of the utility industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively
- Logical approach to problem solving and the ability to thoroughly research issues and analyze various types of information
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete the work necessary to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
