K12 Coalition provides products and services that help K-12 schools and teachers achieve transformational learning outcomes. We tackle many of today’s toughest education challenges, including teacher recruitment and retention, student learning acceleration, ongoing teacher coaching and development, long-range strategic planning, and school equity audits. K12 Coalition came together when passionate educators with deep experience as teachers, school leaders and high-level district administrators saw a genuine need for something better. Our divisions include iteach, Teaching Channel, Insight Education Group and Lavinia Group.


About iteach

iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach enables paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others seeking to become teachers to get the affordable, time-saving education they need to become licensed. Our program combines the convenience of online learning with a full year of face-to-face mentorship during a teaching residency. Notably, iteach is the only non-university educator preparation program to achieve accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).


Location: This is an in-office role located in Denton, Texas


Office Hours: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00PM


The Opportunity

The Program Advisor is charged with educating potential new customers on the advantages of the iteach program primarily via inbound and outbound calling as well as through email. A strong knowledge of the program’s value proposition needs to be persuasively conveyed to each applicant with the ability to answer foundational questions of the program.


What You’ll Do

Promote the advantages and benefits of iteach:

  • Answer questions about the program
  • Primary recipient of inbound calls for individuals not enrolled in iteach
  • Primary recipient of emails for individuals not enrolled into iteach
  • Develop strategies to better address most frequently asked questions
  • To continue seeking a reduction in call volume for similar questions, we would rely on your growing expertise to help inform our communication initiatives/strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of program procedures and updates
  • Provide accurate, up to date, information about teacher certification to at least 5 states.
  • Provide exceptional customer service experience in educating new applicants
  • Increase customer conversion from Applied to Enrolled
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Self disciplined, takes initiative, and self starting
  • Above average skills in typing
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
