Job Description
Position: Agile Scrum Master
Multiple Locations : Des Moines, IA and Hartford CT
Mode: Mostly Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
6 months contract with possible extensions
Responsibilities
- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
- Working knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs; includes fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Working knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test-driven Development, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated -Testing, etc.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to aggregate and organize data, analyse anomalies, and quickly resolve data integrity issues.
- Strong communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception to successful implementation in a generally accepted project methodology framework a plus.
Required Education : At least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
