RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing 1st article, in process and final visual inspection of manufactured parts.
- Using and calibrating precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, and various gauges) to perform inspections.
- Blueprint reading.
- Developing and implementing Quality Control audit plans.
- Identifying testing parameters for products.
- Ensuring that products comply with industry standards.
- Documenting defects and making recommendations for improvement; completing all necessary paperwork.
- Preparing and presenting Quality Control audit reports to senior management.
- Providing support for updating, auditing, and maintaining the ISO Quality Management System.
- Performing duties in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Supporting the Quality Management System by preparing and maintaining PPAP documents to meet customer requirements.
- Effectively communicating and reinforcing Iten's commitment to quality improvement efforts.
- Abiding by Iten’s Code of Conduct.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with precision measuring devices.
- Blueprint reading.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Solid work history including good attendance.
- Previous ISO experience.
- Previous calibration experience.
- Previous audit experience.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, good communication, and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience with electronic measuring systems (Keyence and Control X are a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
