ITHAKA's mission is to expand access to knowledge and education around the world. Our services — Artstor, JSTOR, Portico, and Ithaka S R — enable people everywhere to learn, to grow, and to overcome historical barriers to education. In carrying out our mission, as employees we feel a deep responsibility to each other and our well-being, and are committed to building and sustaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

The Role

Our Operational Excellence team is looking for a highly organized Coordinator to help with the lifecycle of OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). In this position, you will help deploy, enable, monitor, and improve our OKR cycles, processes, and tools. You will be working closely with leadership across the organization.

You will be key to the success of the OKR program at ITHAKA. You are results oriented and have an eye for details. You enjoy fast-paced and collaborative work. This position will report to the Manager, OE Enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Own OKR cycle logistics, such as scheduling and co-leading coaching sessions with KR owners and teams.
  • Own the OKR communication plan and collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure that Objectives are socialized throughout the organization.
  • Give monthly reports on OKR progress and create leadership reports.
  • Help with creation and presentation of OKR-related material for large and small audiences.
  • Make suggestions that improve OKR efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify OKR knowledge gaps and generate easy-to-understand material to fill those gaps.
  • Point of contact for OKR tool including regular upgrades, evaluation, and optimization.

Experience and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience with cross-team project coordination at the organizational level.
  • Comfortable with OKR concepts and implementation in both agile and traditional team environments.
  • Proven critical thinking skills motivated by curiosity, evidence, and a willingness to experiment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build consensus, inspire teams, and lead through influence rather than authority.
  • Drive to continuously learn, seek feedback, and improve.
  • Experience in training and coaching capacities is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Trello, Jira, UpRaise, or other OKR management tools is a plus.
