Job Title : Security Advisor

Location : Plymouth, MN

3 days a week on-site-Hybrid schedule

Local to Minnesota

Overview : As a Security Advisor, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our security architecture.

You'll be responsible for developing, reviewing, and guiding information security solutions across all business units, collaborating with teams and stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate security requirements (both functional and non-functional) in alignment with business objectives.
• Research and communicate security best practices and standards, ensuring they align with customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and refine security solutions.
• Support the creation of security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and guidelines to maintain a consistent security posture.
• Conduct security architecture design reviews and threat modeling for both cloud and on-premises products.
• Assess the effectiveness of security controls, including data protection, identity and access management (IAM), detective controls, infrastructure / network security, and incident response.

Implement appropriate controls, processes, and remediation strategies for any non-compliance.

• Advocate for and contribute to new technologies, architectures, and security products to advance the organization's security maturity roadmap.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on security design, configurations, baselines, and technical standards.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Services, or a related field.
• Certifications :
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
