Itron is seeking a Technical HRIS Analyst responsible for the maintenance and support of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. This position will support the system administrator in ensuring data integrity, system functionality, testing of system changes, reporting and data analysis. Help in performing research and testing to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Work with all levels of HR staff in providing technical and functional support. Assist the system administrator in identifying and analyzing options and recommend business process enhancements. Collaborate and partner with Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Development, Training, and IT, as well as Global HR personnel. Effectively use analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Support multiple and simultaneous projects dealing with the administration of HRIS applications.
- Engage in activities as assigned to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and data flow analysis.
- Provide support for HRMS including, but not limited to, research and resolutions for HRMS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Evaluate and analyze system and interface data.
- Supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff on application upgrades, patches, and fixes.
- Identify and recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions or alternate methodologies/policy changes.
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Train customers on new processes/functionality.
- Train new system users.
Required Experience:
- Experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle or other HCM platforms
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel for data audit and validation.
- Experience working with different data file types such as JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Ability to work as effectively remotely as in an office.
- Ability to build relationships and instill confidence with business partners.
- Capable of deriving and implementing solutions to complex problems.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using SQL.
- Some experience using data analysis to troubleshoot data integrity issues (ex. Finding why budgets exported from two different systems do not balance)
- Project management experience
- Experience using a programming language or process management tool such as C#, JavaScript, Python, Power Automate, Boomi
- Knowledge of markup languages such HTML, XSL, and CSS
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $61,000 - $108,000.
