JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Process Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Manager, Vice President
JOB SUMMARY:
Supports production by maintaining smooth operation of electro-coating process.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Monitors chemical processes by completing daily scheduled titrations and making additions as required.
· Closely monitors production and changes voltage when required.
· Monitors wastewater system
· Changes filters when required
· Cleans filter presses as directed
· Utilizes downtime by cleaning areas around equipment
· Completes minor maintenance tasks when necessary. Examples include but not limited to: changing light bulbs, changing A/C filters, replacing fuses, etc.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of experience in factory environment.
- Maintenance experience is a plus but not required
MINIMUM LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must be able to follow diagrams and charts
- Must be able to follow written directions
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to self-manage with little oversight
