Summary:

The C’treat General Accountant position has the primary financial responsibility for the C’treat business.  This business (approximately 15M revenue) operates with a lean infrastructure that demands a hands-on approach across a wide array of financial responsibilities. This position must ensure the accuracy and integrity of the underlying systems and processes and ensure compliance with all related rules, regulations and Company policies. The position is primarily accountable for all financial activities within the operation, and is considered a business partner to the operational team. This finance position is a critical provider of all applicable information to the NA PRO Controller.

Essential Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for maintaining the general accounting functions at the operating unit level. Completion of financial statements, compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts, maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers.• Balance Sheet reconciliation and reporting• Customer invoicing, milestone billing, verifying invoice contact and PO requirements • Reporting: Uploading data in to the Company’s Onestream financial reporting system including weekly flash, monthly forecasts and actuals and annual operating plan and budget data. Preparing ongoing orders & sales reports and monthly financial statements and reports. Supporting the monthly performance review reporting. Meet all applicable reporting deadlines• Bi-Weekly payroll reporting for hourly works on The Woodlands site; Maintain Payroll system (Epicor), Time and Attendance, vacation and holiday time.• Participates in limited cost accounting and analysis • Assists shared services with collection activity (as needed), assists in communication between operations, FRC and customer (as needed)• Ensure adequacy of financial controls including compliance with all SOX and related control requirements, company policies, tax and statutory regulations. • Ensure completeness and accuracy of local financial records including general ledger and related reports including accuracy of job costing information from the Epicor system. • Month End duties – Closing general ledger accounts monthly, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly accruals and adjusting entries. Analyze trial balance for accuracy and completeness of transactions and financial reporting to be submitted to Onestream • Periodic reports and analysis, physical inventory reports, annual parts price list preparation, reviews of standard cost pricing and variances. • Work with the General Manager and operations team to continually improve business and accounting systems and processes. • Prepare annual operating plans and budgets for each of the operations. • Perform financial analysis, capital and lease evaluations (PARs) and special projects. • Ad Hoc Reporting – as requested by department, manager, or employee.

Position Requirements

3-5 years general ledger accounting and end of month close experience in a manufacturing environment • 2 year degree in Accounting or similar required • Balance sheet reconciliation and understanding; must have strong accounting acumen to understand financial statements relevant to balance sheets (ultimate responsibility and ownership of local finance records)• Financial reporting experience required • Invoicing experience required • Payroll processing experience is a plus • SOX exposure is a plus • Strong understanding of general accounting best practices for compliance and efficiency• Understanding of business processes • Solid communication skills• Solid Analytical skills• Strong team player

Annual Salary Range of $61,100.00 - $91,300.00 plus benefits and potential bonus
