The qualified applicant will be expected to assemble components and perform all primary and secondary operations associated with the assembly operation.
At a minimum, the technician will be able to follow an assembly manual without supervision.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assembly of components and or complete assemblies either bolted or structural bonded.
- Fully trained and signed off as a qualified operator for all assembly processes associated with the assembly department.
e.g. Torqueing, Lock Wiring, Structural Bonding and Measuring.)
- Able to produce assembled units at the established production rates, not exceed expected scrap rates and inspect / verify that all assembled parts meet all quality requirements.
Position Requirements

- Able to produce assembled units at the established production rates, not exceed expected scrap rates and inspect / verify that all assembled parts meet all quality requirements.
- Follow all work instructions as trained; including but not limited to Assembly manuals, Work Orders (routers), Supplemental Quality Inspections, General Workmanship Standards, etc.
- Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
- Higher education in a technical field preferred.
- Previous experience with aerospace assembly preferred.
