Permatex is currently looking for a 2nd Picker in our Distribution Department. The hours for this position are 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday). This position is responsible for the following:
- Will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders paying special attention to customer specific requirements.
- Will utilize R/F technology to fulfill these orders and generate appropriate labels and will also be required to generate appropriate paperwork at times.
- Will be required to stand/lift /bend the entire shift and able to lift 65 pounds.
- This incumbent will be picking 5 gallon pails and gallon boxes approximately 90% of everyday
- Must be experienced in driving motorized material handling equipment.
- Will independently perform housekeeping aisle audits on a routine basis.
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a team environment as well as be able to independently plan work activities and meet daily productivity goals.
- Must be detail oriented and able to perform basic mathematical functions
- Is able to plan and carryout movement or flow of materials or products in a productive manner.
- Assures that accurate customer orders are completed with efficiency.

- The selected individual will possess a high school diploma or equivalent with a preferred minimum of 2 years prior picking / warehouse experience.
- Must have low-lift forklift experience
Pay Rate: $16-$17 an hour depending on experience. Plus $.50 an hour shift differential.
