Job Description
SHIFT: 48/36 weekly rotating 1st/2nd shift hours
HOURS: 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.
DUTIES:
Responsible for the operation of equipment to anneal rod and wire.
Loads and unloads coils of rod and wire using material handling equipment.
Operates overhead crane to move furnaces and load and unload bases.
Must apply correct annealing cycle for each charge.
Performs all adjustments of atmosphere gas per cycle requirements as well as check the atmosphere dew points to attain proper quality of annealed product.

Department Housekeeping
Follow all general safety practices and wear required PPE at all times
Qualifications
Operates overhead crane and powered material handling equipment in a safe manner to move product in and out of the department.
Basic computer skills
Self-directed with minimal supervision
Good attendance
Exhibit good work habits
Verbal communication skills
Ability to solve problems & make decisions
Comprehend theory of basic heat treat principles
