Documentation Specialist

Company DescriptionBaxter Manufacturing, a division of ITW-Food Equipment Group, has an opening for a ERP/Documentation Specialist working in its Orting, Washington facility.  Position Summary:The ERP documentation specialist serves as the go-to person for our ERP system (Epicor). This individual will assist users at all levels of the organization to navigate through the application to achieve their business objectives. This individual is part of our engineering team and will primarily support our ECN/PCN process, inventory control, and production rollouts.Job DescriptionSalary: $75,000 - $80,000 Annual/Exempt Relocation assistance may be available Create and maintains accurate engineering drawings and documentation for new products/product changes Create and release Engineering changes utilizing the PCN/PCR processCreate & release Bills of Material (BOMs)Implement Engineering structure changes using Epicor 10Epicor Maintenance and device configurationSupport various departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing & Service) with required documentations functions in support of the product line (specifications, device information, service assemblies, etc.)Prepares copies of drawings and documents design changes.Documentation to include accuracy of manuals, installation, operation, and maintenance, product processes (work instructions), as well as pictures and illustrations of equipmentPartner with accounting to support accuracy of inventory, ensuring correct zone locations, and verifying validity of negative InventoryQualificationsAdaptable, flexible, innovative, problem-solving skills, sense of urgency, listening skillsTask planningStrong Epicor system knowledge a plus (not required)Organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work outside of standard business hours as business demandsExcellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skillsMust be attentive to detail, task-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamPC skills, including the use of Microsoft suiteBasic familiarity of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Education: Associates degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
