ITW Celeste includes Easton, MA. All of which are ITW Fluids NA.
Job Description
Summary:
The FPA Manager will report to the Fluids NA Division Controller and be responsible for managing financial functions ranging from reporting and analysis, internal accounting controls, compliance with financial policies, and operating analysis/reporting.
Primary Duties:
Financial Reporting and Control:
Assist in managing the financial activities, transactions and resources (people and process) as directed by the Division Controller. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business financial information in compliance with ITW policies and GAAP. Identify when exceptions may be required to ITW stated policy and present request to Division Controller. Learn and apply the ITW Principles (80/20, Product Line Simplification, Market Rate of Demand and In-Lining) to eliminate complexity and improve the profitability of the company. Effectively communicate and coordinate the exchange of financial information (plans, forecasts, actual results and outlook) to key stakeholders.
Operating Analysis and Planning:
Assist in managing/developing annual and long-range operating and financial plans. Deliver short and long-term forecasting. Provide measurable and accurate financial targets to evaluate the financial performance of the business. Possess strong business analytical skills with an 80/20 mindset.
Demonstrated manufacturing experience, translating KPI’s into immediate improvement actions, decreasing costs/increasing revenue. Be an effective business partner management team.
Cost Accounting Supervisor:
Supervise cost accounting activities, such us inventory control, cost allocation, variance analysis, budget preparations, and champion cost improvement initiatives
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the vision and implementation of strategic long-range plans, capital investments, restructuring projects and critical ad-hoc opportunities. Help build cross-department credibility, confidence, and collaboration with other functional areas.
Capital Management and Investment Analysis:
Evaluate and present projects that support additional investment or enhance the current development of assets and resources with the goal of improving the profitability of the organization.
People Leadership & Talent Development:
Lead and develop proficient Finance resources focused on profitable growth, improving customer satisfaction and simplifying business processes. Identify, lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting organizational goals. This may include selection and onboarding of talent; communicating effectively to foster a culture of engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment, and coaching through feedback, development planning and performance management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 10 years of demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction, inventory control, tracking and managing costs against a budget, and tracking P&L results required.
- Demonstrated talent development and management of others.
- Transactional analysis and modeling skills.
- Experience successfully partnering and influencing mid- level leadership.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience implementing and working with information technology and ERP systems required.
- Project management experience, leading and working with diverse individuals in cross-functional teams. Able to learn and apply skills quickly.
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment are essential.
- Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written, verbal and collaborative communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions; use reason when dealing with emotional topics/situations.
