We’re proud of what we do and even more proud of how we do it.Job DescriptionITW Global Brands is seeking a rising Junior or Senior for the Information Technology Internship located in our Lakeland, FL office from mid May until beginning of August 2024. This internship will assist with day-to-day IT duties including monitoring the help desk ticket queue, assigning tickets to the correct person, team, or department, communicating with end users, and troubleshooting basic PC support issues. Over time the candidate may learn to perform more technical troubleshooting and resolution tasks.Core Responsibilities:Monitor the helpdesk queue to triage and assign tickets Review and respond to all IT helpdesk tickets that are submittedAssign new IT helpdesk tickets to proper IT departmentAssist IT team members in basic troubleshooting and resolution of computer issuesExpected Learnings:How to manage helpdesk workloads in a business environmentBasic computer troubleshooting and problem resolutionTechnical documentationHow to work with and communicate with internal customersQualificationsMust be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information SystemsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional communication skillsAbility to work alone or collaborate with othersAdditional InformationThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
