Job Description
The manufacturing engineer Intern will work closely with our Maintenance Team and our Process Engineer in a variety of projects including revising and editing technical drawings, assisting with the implementation of Maintenance systems, and supporting continuous improvement in our Manufacturing process. This is a 10-weeks summer internship program schedule from May - August 2022/
- Work in close collaboration with our Maintenance Team and our Manufacturing Engineer.
- Assist with the development and implementation of our Total Preventive Maintenance System
- Document and reorganize engineering drawings for plant equipment and machinery
- Develop new engineer drawings as required
- Analysis of Plant Maintenance Data.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year engineering program, preferably as a rising junior or
- Senior Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Major Preferred
- Proven experience in AutoCAD editing and producing technical drawings'
- Ability to work 40hrs per week at our plant located in Northwest Houston, TX
- Self-motivated with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
