What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler I position at IV Media LLC?
OVERVIEW
Package customer orders, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of merchandise to the customer. Re-package/re-work vendor purchase orders into sellable units.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Package merchandise in accordance with Shop HQ guidelines and standards
- Follow processes within the established Shop HQ quality standards.
- Unpack and examine incoming items, reject damaged items, package kits into sellable units.
- Sort and separate items according to identifying specifications.
- Insert or modify kits as necessary.
- Ensure work areas are maintained and cleaned daily.
- Support all company safety procedures and encourages all fellow associates to do the same.
- Have flexibility and willingness to support other job functions within the fulfillment center.
- Work in an efficient manner to help ensure productivity goals are met.
- Team player, flexible, good communicator, positive, dependable, proficient math skills.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse/distribution experience preferred
- To ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management
- It is essential that the duties of the role be performed on-site at Shop HQ’s facility
- Performs other duties as assigned.
