Job Posting for Cybersecurity Analyst at Ivionics, LLC
IVIONICS is looking for an Entry Level CybersecurityAnalystto join our team. The CybersecurityAnalyst will be based out of our Hauppauge office and is responsible for general support tasks in our in-house Security Operations team.
The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to exhibit problem solving capabilities. He/she should have a strong work ethic and an ability to effectively multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cyber assessment activities including threat modeling, analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions
Support of local site cybersecurity services (SIEM, Vulnerability Management, EDR/MDR)
Perform routine cyber security assessments.
Conducting security engineering/hardening of the latest operating systems, tailoring them for use in specific security baselines.
Identify, execute, and document test cases based upon:
General project requirements
Newly completed development work
Areas of concern or interest as raised by client, development team, and your own personal/professional experiences
Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Understanding of different Risk Frameworks and Security Baselines.
Ability to apply MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
Knowledge of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) lists.
Understanding of scripting/shellcode/Kali-Linux/Burp/Nessus/SIEM/General Cyber and Phishing attacks.
