Manager SAP OTC - Hybrid (m/f/x)Location: Amherst, NY (2 Days WFH, 3 Days Onsite)

At our North American Headquarters in Amherst, NY we are looking to add a Manager SAP OTC to our Finance team. The Manager, SAP OTC will manage, oversee and coordinate the department-level operation of the organization’s SAP System environment and associated Business Software Applications through support of best practices.
Essential Functions
Management (with people reporting responsibilities) -
- Create and maintain a safe, secure, diverse, inclusive, engaged and compliant work environment that empowers employees to achieve departmental and company results
- Adhere to the corporate code of conduct
- Plan, organize and maintain department control in support of executing corporate and departmental business objectives that ensures productivity, goal achievement, budget and forecast adherence and allows for effective and efficient operations
- Recruit, select, onboard, and train new employees
- Lead and execute performance management activities to include DIALOG and performance improvement plans that support employee development
- Commit and foster adherence to the company's quality management system and timely execution of tasks assigned within it
- Work together with fellow managers in a professional, respective and collaborative manner
Position -
- Work closely with all functional groups within a project team to identify and resolve issues related to OTC
- Manage, mentor and develop the SAP OTC Associate/Power User and SAP OTC Associate and direct their daily activities and projects
- Administer and manage customer pricing agreements in SAP/Fiore, with ability to manage multiple customer’s pricing, discount, and rebate agreements
- Administer monthly & daily dealer transfer sales maintenance and upload process
- Act as Business Leader for SAP release testing and system upgrades related to area of responsibility
- Plan short and long-term opportunities by functional group to ensure availability of planned resource
- Provide executive level monthly metric reports
- Responsible for entering Change Management Requests
- Execute all SAP Power User responsibilities as identified in the Internal Regulations:
- Guidelines for Power Users (WI0354) including the following main functions:
- Act as key contact for other employees
- Identify opportunities for improvements within your business process area
- Oversee the process in accordance with the defined concept
- Prepare, implement and safeguard the applications of CR programming
- Ensure the availability of documentation for your business procedures
- Train and mentor employees on SAP applications
- Maintain advanced knowledge about SAP and the SAP processes workflow
- Regularly review existing processes and procedures with stakeholders and look for ways to make improvements
Your Qualifications
- Accounting Information Systems Degree preferred, College or university degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience required
- 10 years experience SAP functional competencies in Sales and Distribution required
- Must possess 5 years of SAP Application experience as a Power User
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher required
- Experience with upgrading SAP ECC 6.0 to S4HANA preferred
- Large-scale project management experience is required, finance transformation will occur within the next few years.
- Experience with forecasting, financial results, order management
- Must have good functional design skills and proven analytical and problem-solving
- abilities with a strong customer service orientation
- Good interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills required
- Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred
- Ability to travel, minimal
