ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Nips and trims flash off of numerous parts

• Operates all machines in the Assembly department: mill, lathe, laser, pad printer, Plastic Assembly System machine, manual  

        heat insertion machine, sonic welder, sanders, pin insertion machine, etc.

• Assembles parts before they are sent over to the shipping department

• Keeps track of production by filling out operator paperwork

• Maintains a clean work area at all times

• Checks quality of the parts being produced

• Creates inventory labels for the staging area

• Possesses a very high attention to detail and good memorization skills

• Possesses a team leader attitude and can effectively direct peers in a positive manner

• Able to work with minimum supervision

• Possesses basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Possesses a high mechanical aptitude

• Possesses an excellent work ethic and is able to be a reliable and trustworthy employee

• Ability to arrive to work on time

• Possesses the ability to see the larger picture of the manufacturing process

• Possesses excellent attention to detail

• Possesses the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management

• Possesses basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift 50# boxes

• Ability to use a pallet jack 

• Ability to repeatedly use hands for nipping and trimming parts 

• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
