What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator position at Ivy Computer?
Are you a person with many skills? We need a Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator to help ensure that we have a safe, clean, and enjoyable workplace. You would help us meet this goal by maintaining and fixing what you can and coordinating with outside vendors to maintain or repair what you can’t.
A typical day in this job may include: changing light bulbs, patching and painting walls, performing routine maintenance on the HVAC system, fixing a door hinge, replacing water filters, addressing a minor plumbing issue, coordinating with an electrician to fix an electrical panel problem, ordering supplies, or covering janitorial duties if the office cleaner is unavailable.
Flexible schedule, with occasional early mornings needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with the safe use of hand and power tools.
- The ability to manage your workload and shift priorities as needed.
- The ability to occasionally: move objects weighing up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, crawling into awkward spaces, and climbing and working on a ladder.
- Previous experience using a hydraulic lift and basic computer applications is helpful.
- Above all, you must work and play well with others.
