SNF Business Office Manager

Ivy at Davenport is looking for an experienced, hard-working, self motivated team member to join our team as Business Office Manager. We are a small skilled nursing facility in the Davenport, Iowa area. Potential candidates must be willing to make that commitment as well. They should also possess proven experience in skilled nursing facility and long-term care collections, have a working knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care payer sources including Medicare and Medicaid, and be willing to own the numbers. We are not looking for someone to just be a manager. We are looking for a leader who can transform accounts receivable and strengthen the business office structure of the facility. Responsibilities as Business Office Manager:

• Private and income collections
• Insurance Verifications
• Month end close processes to include triple check
• Data entry of resident demographics
• Daily census reconciliation
• Ensure completion of required admission paper work
• Communicate with residents/ responsible party to ensure collection for entire stay
• Medicaid application process management from start to finish
• Resident trust management and reconciliation

Requirements include:

• 2 years experience in Business Office
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility REQUIRED
• 2 years of Proven Collections Medicare and Medicaid experience
• 2 years of successful Medicaid application processes and ensuring approval
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
