Ivybrook blends a hybrid curriculum of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Multiple Intelligence research. Dynamic teachers assist children in achieving developmental milestones while valuing differences and nurturing the individual needs of their students.This position is in a brand new campus currently under construction due to open in September. This position will begin as part time, with the opportunity to move into full time asap as classes fill.

- This position will begin as part time until the morning sessions fill up, with the goal of becoming a full time position when afternoon sessions open up if desired

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
- Observe and evaluate each child’s progress
- Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
- Maintain communication with parents
- Be available for parent conferences
- Attend staff meetings, training and school functions
- Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom
- Commit to continuing education

Job Requirements
Priority given to those with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or have their education degree within the first year of employment. Previous experience at a public, private or licensed school preferred. Priority given to those with Montessori or Reggio Emilia experience and knowledge/training.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15,000.00 - $19,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22 – 26 per week
