Elections Sales Account Executive - TextMyGov

TextMyGov is a fast-growing tech startup that provides innovative communication solutions to local governments. Our platform allows residents to communicate with their city or county government through text messaging. We are expanding our reach to elections departments throughout the United States and are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Sales Representative for our Elections Departments, you will be responsible for generating new business and building relationships with elections departments across the country. You will be responsible for selling our text messaging platform to these departments, helping them to modernize their communication strategies and improve engagement with voters.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of elections departments
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach efforts
• Build relationships with key decision-makers at elections departments
• Understand and articulate the value of our text messaging platform to potential clients
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
• Negotiate and close sales agreements
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and industries
• Ability to reliably commute to Logan, UT or planning to relocate before starting work

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
