IWP is looking for an energetic team player to join our Accounting team.  The Accounting Associate will be responsible for preparing and recording general entries, account reconciliations, and detailed reports. This role will work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

What You’ll Do

• Perform accounting activities, that include but are not limited to data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports
• Review, code, and verify transactions including AP invoices, payments, and journal entries
• Reconcile accounts and bank statements
• Assists is completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Associate degree or 2 years relevant experience
• Basic understanding accounting principles
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail
• Time management and ability to prioritize
