Overview
Our Data Solutions Team is seeking a world-class Senior Analytics Engineer, with experience leveraging leading-edge data technologies to deliver high-powered insights and advanced analytics. In this role, you will enjoy working with talented and diverse engineers who are passionate about trailblazing new-product innovation in the data-technology space.


Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of how digital analytics data is collected, transformed, and unified with other data sources in the process of digital identity resolution, profile enrichment, and audience activation
  • CDP, visitor identity stitching/graphing
  • Build and operate innovative customer-centric solutions using digital marketing data and technology
  • Leveraging the AWS cloud platform and CI/CD tools, support and/or replace manual release and QA processes with automated solutions
  • Provide and contribute to requirements analysis, systems design, development, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of application and code enhancements
  • Perform gap analysis, task breakdown, and project estimates
  • Ownership of the audience build and push process with partner platforms such as LiveRamp, Sprinklr, and AAM
  • Design, build and manage secure and efficient analytics data collection libraries and supporting tooling, promoting best practices around CI/CD and test-driven development
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, QA, and operational resources
  • Learn about and share: new ideas, methodologies, techniques, and technology through mentoring, pair programming, and code reviews
  • Mentor a team of software engineers with diverse experience levels and areas of expertise
  • Lead Solutioning and Design efforts within the team and in collaboration with other teams, both internal and external to IXIS
  • Support agile/scrum planning efforts at the increment and sprint levels
  • Collect business requirements from clients, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders, translating them to functional requirements
  • Support Scope of Work writing and estimation processes as a subject matter expert


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area, or equivalent industry experience
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in AWS ecosystem, have experience working with large data sets, and building analytics platforms
  • Strong knowledge and experience of AWS cloud infrastructure compute, networking, storage, and other AWS cloud services like S3, EC2, EMR, SageMaker, ECS, Athena, Glued
  • 7 years of professional software development/engineering experience, preferably including full stack web development
  • Strong Javascript, Typescript, and Python proficiency required
  • 5 years of experience with SQL
  • 3 years of experience with Docker
  • Relational database schema design competency
  • Knowledge of practical design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong git and release management competency
  • Competent in practical debugger usage (e.g. the debugger found in VS Code or Chrome DevTools)
  • Design and implementation of unit and integration tests
  • Core critical thinking skills, including good data intuition


Additional Desired Skills

  • Tech lead, team lead, and/or technical project management experience
  • Digital analytics tools including Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, as well as various tag management solutions 
  • Experience designing and implementing custom web analytics solutions
  • GitLab, GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with data streaming using tools like AWS Kinesis or Kafka
  • Experience with pandas and sqlalchemy Python libraries
  • Experience with Puppeteer and/or Playwrite browser automation libraries
  • Development experience in a Linux or Mac environment
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
