Job Title: Manager II, HRIS Department: Human Resources Country: United States of America State/Province: Arkansas City: Lowell Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under general direction, this position is responsible for overseeing all design, configuration, development and implementation aspects of their functional area based on business needs. The incumbent evaluates and enhances HR technology functionality, including ongoing maintenance, configuration, implementation and testing of new processes and programs. The position requires direct management of a team of salaried exempt individual contributors and manages direct allocation of team members based on business needs, prioritization, etc. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Accountable for current state needs and the “as is” environment to provide functional expertise and knowledge of the existing business practices as well as reconciling those requirements to new system capabilities and scope within functional team Manage ongoing maintenance and support on HR systems and applications including software installations, upgrades, compliance updates, program coding, maintenance, backing-up data and administering security/access protocols within functional team Provide guidance when necessary for general application configuration, deployment and data maintenance, including security configuration and HRIS functionality review Lead the communication with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand problems, assess risks and benefits, and present solutions Facilitate presentations of system changes and analysis to business leaders and key stakeholders Facilitate comprehensive training and deployment plan Own implementations and/or updates of HR systems and applications Lead the management, planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects Lead the identification, design and development of HR Technology & Applications analytics & measurement goals; development of processes and procedures using available data to drive automation, efficiency and maximize productivity Provide guidance in the presentation of measures and metrics to HR Leaders to use in resolving program and/or service issues, and driving HR decisions with actionable intelligence Assist in the partnership with third party vendors for engagement or development of systems Lead the partnership with other internal departments, business units and senior management to ensure the effective implementation of HR Technology policies Collaborate as needed with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to ensure that human resources core services are delivered effectively and efficiently Facilitate the administration of individual and team performance metrics; managing staff and monitoring individual performance and development Oversee the assessment of the capabilities and workload of the HR Technology & Applications team to determine the best utilization of resources to meet the business needs Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Industrial Psychology or related field and 4 years of related experience; or 5 or more years of related experience in technology systems, project management, or HR and 3 years of direct supervisory experience; or 8 years combined relevant experience, education or training Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Industrial Psychology or related field with 5-7 or more years of related experience in technology systems and 2-3 years of direct supervisory experience Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment Ability to communicate effectively through all mediums Ability to lead a team and motivate others Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to understand and apply business acumen Analytical skills Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in Process Improvement Experience in Project Management Experience with HRIS/Talent Management/Payroll systems Problem Solving skills Proficient active listening skills Education: Bachelors: Computer and Information Science, Bachelors: Human Resources Management, GED (Required), High School (Required), Masters: Computer and Information Science, Masters: Human Resources Management Work Experience: Human Resources, Information Technology/Systems, Management-Entry Level Job Opening ID: 00462827 Manager II, HRIS (Open) “This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
